What a wonderful afternoon at the second annual Christmas event in Malden Manor!

Amazing work by the Malden Manor community group, with support from lots of others in this brilliant neighborhood (see below the photos for more thanks!).

New people always welcome – what would you like to see next year? January will be a great time to get involved. Keep an eye out for meeting dates.

 

At the Malden Manor Christmas my true love gave to me:

  • 300 people….
  • 8 stalls/ activities…
  • 3 x musical entertainments
  • 1 x Father Christmas
  • 13 bottles of mulled wine
  • 2 bottles of mulled cider
  • 3 boxes of home made cakes
  • 1 bird of prey
  • 13 santa hats
  • 1 mosaic in the making
  • 75 presents given to children
  • 11 children’s faces painted
  • 12 carols sung
  • numerous biscuits decorated
  • countless reindeer lollies made
  • ……………………………………………………………………and a photo booth nativity scene!!!!!!!!!!

 

Special thanks to Castle Star Nursery for organisational support and providing a venue to meet in.  

Big thanks to Malden Manor Community Church for their considerable support with organising and for providing the photo booth and children’s games. 

Not to forget the Rotary Club for the Father Christmas, Malden Manor Primary School choir and Richard Challoner band.
