On Friday 4th May we held a widely publicised Community Get Together at Malden Manor Primary School.
Local People fund for Malden Manor
At that meeting we explained the following:
As part of the ‘Local People’ project facilitated by Sustrans, there is roughly £5000 left to spend on trials in the Malden Manor area, by February.
This project has always been led by residents of Malden Manor, who have formed the Malden Manor Community Group.
We are inviting proposals from the MM community group, and other local groups, to spend this money on improvements to Malden Manor.
For example the seating trial last year was funded using this money, to pay for plants, soil, chalkboards and other materials needed.
